I almost used this godzilla gif to illustrate my point instead. Maybe you’ll enjoy it more.

I have to admit that I love the “pacman” pun quite a bit, which is nearly enough by itself to convince me to try it. One day. Maybe.
I’m only 4 months into Linux, and apt is my comfort zone. Checking out other distros that use something else has me running away like:

6·9 days agoGood for you for making this so special for him. He’s a lucky kid.
I usually have a decent feel for what is going to set people off around here, but sometimes it’s a complete surprise.
I posted 2 memes back to back the other day, and I thought the riskier one was the one using an Alex Jones template, because in the past, people have been snappy about seeing problematic figures in templates, even if the joke was unrelated. Nope, what filled my inbox with angry replies was a meme poking fun at the high prices at farmers markets.
I hope you can be free of it one day. I’m 4 months into Linux now and have not looked back. I was fortunate enough to not need any windows-exclusive apps.
Ah, damn it.
Oh Jesus, I would lose my mind if I got alerts for every reply on Lemmy/Piefed. I just check every so often.
It also left a mistake in mine that I had to go back to fix. Lol

Seriously. I know when to use it’s vs its. If I meant to type we’re instead of were, I would have. Stop it!
I wish I could dial it back without turning it off completely.

5·11 days agoMy first plan was also .25 per text for the first 10 each day, then it dropped to .10 for the remainder. It was brutal.

1·2 months agoThanks! I wonder if I will ever reach that level of privacy paranoia. At the rate that I’m going, maybe 5 years.

I changed one of my PCs over to Debian this month, and I was surprised at how smooth it is. I guess I was expecting it to be way more barebones. I don’t know if I need more than this!
