I never believed this was warranted. This was the worst possible outcome and I wish this didn’t happen. I’m just trying to understand how it lead to this.
There is a vast myriad of events that took place over several decades that ended with conservatives having become completely untethered from reality, choosing fascism, and voting into office not once, but twice, the dementia-ridden dictator and his murderous henchmen. There are others who can provide greater historical detail than I can, and should they choose to, I’d pay careful attention to what they say, were I you.
