      No, iron is the thing that kills stars, it’s not made via the death of one (like heavier elements are). Yes, it requires the death to release the newly made iron, but that’s not a product of said death.

    It comes from the core of stars? Then how is it harvested for iron supplements & medically-necessary iron transfusions? Are there star workers out there clobbering stars to harvest iron from star cores, then bottling the iron and bringing it back to earth? 🤔
