  • IMO… There is no such thing as god, or a soul. When we die nothing happens. The value of the woman’s life is exponentially more valuable than a bunch of cells still forming.

    So, if a growth in a woman poses a health risk—and all pregnancies are health risks—the women should be able to decide not to have this health risk. The farther along it gets, the more risky the removal procedure becomes, and at a certain point it’s just induced labor.

    The tricky part is what happens later. Who is responsible for it? Who is responsible for defects from “keeping it alive?” Who pays the child emotional and physical damages for its lifetime because it was kept alive due to medical intervention?
