The number of people who just snap one day and decide ‘I’m gonna drown my entire family on the pool’ or ‘I’m gonna drive my car through that bitches house and kill her’ is so statistically insignificant that there is no cause to protect society from it. Whereas guns allow such easy access to death that the homicide can be perpetrated before there is any time for rational thoughts. Just pick up a gun, bam, one more dead person.
