I tried to upload a video to a Peertube instance once.
Took me a solid hour to figure out how to do that.
The link to it 404d the next day.

At least another 50% are actual humans narrating AI slop.
Most common one in Germany is “I have my days”.
I’m guessing seeing one of these was the starting point for this cartoon.
Also wouldn’t surprise me if he threw in 1-2 types that don’t exist.
Or they haven’t been written yet?
If you install it the recommended way (full installation) all of Slackware’s dependencies are taken care of.
Additional software comes from Slackbuilds or compatible community repos. They include dependency info and helper programs that resolve dependencies for you.
No one is masochistic enough for the old method of “compile till it errors out, look for missing libraries in the logs, try to compile those, repeat”.
sqg -a for the entire repository)I tried the Slackbuilds version of Steam first, but it didn’t launch Skyrim, so my PC was completely useless.
With dial-up that probably cost more than buying Slackware.
Alienbob’s Slackbuilds Repo, SlackDCE, slackware.uk
and here I thought running Slackware was a waste of time…
You’re right, it’s impossible to grow plants without AI.
French press is just for people too stupid to operate a moka pot.

Honestly, Microsoft should just take the L, develop Windows 12 based on a Linux kernel, and re-write most of their stuff from scratch.
After focusing on backwards-compatibility for 40 years, they’re allowed a new start, to fix all the rotten code they inherited from the 1980’s.
I don’t use systemd, and Linus Torwalds controls what’s actually allowed into the kernel.
I’d rather simulate some Windows function calls on a system I control than install Windows and give up all control over my system to a foreign corporation.
I tried installing it natively, but that requires activating multilib first, and even then, some of my games didn’t launch, complaining about missing stuff. Flatpak is just all around less hassle for Steam, but Steam is also the only thing I use it for.
I’m far away. What is the point?
