I remember reading a few days ago that OpenAI basically ordered 3 times as much RAM as they could use this year. There are also data centers fully equipped but not turned on as the local power grid could not handle the added demand.

I think it depends on what the intent is for the cut. In this case, it was to provide a version that is as close to the book as possible. I agree that what you describe could be a good cut too, but the goal isn’t the same.

Why would we need an alternative to Wikipedia?
