Discord is overused for help forums and wikis, which makes them extremely difficult to search and dependent upon third party software to be maintained. I hope this will force people away from that behaviour and back to good old fashioned messageboards that have been working just fine since at least the 80s

I use the the ‘right click button’ literally every single day. It’s super useful for not having to move between the mouse and keyboard for tasks.
Also, this is on Linux, and I think it’s fair to say that the key has evolved to become a fairly standard part of keyboards and operating systems. Just because MS were the first ones to use it doesn’t give them some kind of say control over the idea, at least beyond the scope of their own hardware, and I don’t think anyone is arguing that they don’t have the right to change their own hardware. It’s just a bad decision.

I understand the reluctance to demilitarize, but… what’s the alternative? The Regime has made it crystal clear, they have said it in plain English while being recorded, that they are going to escalate the violence including toward NATO allies.
Assuming the US isn’t able to get him under control, which has certainly been true so far, then the only courses of action available to world powers are to fight back or to bend the knee.
But is the question of whether or not the degrees will continue to hold after bar oversight is removed up to States in which the person will be practicing, or can Texas dictate that they must accept such degrees in the future?
I honestly don’t actually know how accreditation and licensing and lawyer stuff actually works.

My gas stove has one really big burner for when you need extra heat, and one really small burner for super low heat. It’s pretty nifty.
Yes, there are induction stoves.
These use magnets to heat the pan directly, instead of heating an element which then conducts heat into the pan.
Since they don’t rely on resistive heating, they can actually be controlled in a much more precise manner. Maybe under the hood this actually involves cycling of the heat, but the result is something that for all intents and purposes “maintains temperature”
You can only use pans made of certain metals, which is the main drawback besides expense. No aluminum
Being cheap is a big part of it. The fact that it’s about as expensive to run gas as it is to run electric makes it make sense to consider gas in the first place
But also, gas is usually a superior cooking medium to any but the most high quality electric cooktops. Gas is instantly responsive, whereas electric heating elements take time to cool off and heat up.
When I was younger living in apartments, I had some really shitty electric stoves. Terrible consistency, hotspots, took forever to heat up and stayed hot for ages.

I feel like people have had toddlers and dog bowls for a long time, and that people in the past have been ableto keep certain things away from water successfully. Perhaps if you have increased opportunities to get the phone wet, you should take extra precautions.
