I just took that statement to be a mask off moment where he reveals just how little he thinks of most humans. He can’t really be stupid enough to think there are only one billion humans on the planet?

I would argue the parents are in many cases more addicted than their kids. I find the most egregious users of social media in my life is not my friends kids, it’s not my nephews or nieces. It’s their parents and in my nephews and nieces cases I can tell it is also the grandparents.
