Isn’t privateering still done by a privately owned ship? Pretty sure when government vessels do it, it is just a blockade/sanctions enforcement/etc, until someone declares war about it.

True, but I will not tolerate apps that engage in that kind of shitty behavior. Makes me think that they are farming my data. Why else would something like a grocery list app give two shits about whether or not I used it.

The problem comes when the app has an actual useful purpose for notifications, but it also chooses to send this type of bullshit. So I allow notifications, and immediately uninstall any app that abuses that permission.

Maybe it’s just what I’ve been noticing, but I feel like Arduino was already losing its share of the hobbyist market. The plethora of small, cheap esp32 devices have already been taking Arduino’s place.

We think. We still haven’t solved things like the dark matter/energy problem. The answer to that alone could drastically change what we estimate will happen in the distant future.
