The headline refers to these boats as “alleged drug vessels,” but “alleged” means charges that haven’t been proven in court. By plan, there people will never be charged or see a courtroom, and never have any chance to be innocent until proven guilty. Only the Trump administration — a very, very unreliable source — says they’re drug smugglers or “narco-terrorists,” but the only thing we know with certainty is that they’re target practice, which makes these killings premeditated murder.

This is murder, illegal under American and international law.

When I was young and naïve in my 50s, I thought US cars had safety requirements, and the era of rolling death traps had been beaten back by Ralph Nader. Must’ve been my mistake. Is there nobody in the government looking at safety issues like un-openable doors?

One might get the impression the Trump admin isn’t particularly opposed to human trafficking. Perhaps Bari Weiss over organize a CBS News debate on the topic.

The strikes have now killed 104 people, according to an Agence France-Presse tally based on official data.
104 killings is probably an undercount, but it puts Hegseth & Trump in fourth place.
Prison for everyone involved, please. These are killings unjustified under any sane reading of any American or international law.

Did I stutter?

I will not vote again for Kamala Harris, nor for any other ordinary, boring, middle-of-the-road Democrat. “Vote blue no matter who” brought us to this point, where Democrats are so spineless and compromised, only a handful of elected Dems are willing to oppose fascism. Never again, for me. Give me a candidate worth voting for — that’s the only way to get my vote.
In “full crisis mode,” this should be the first step, and I hope it’s what Denmark & Greenland do.
