There have now been at least 34 strikes – and at least 115 people killed – in the U.S. military campaign in the Caribbean and Eastern Pacific targeting alleged drug traffickers since September.
The U.S. campaign targeting alleged drug boats came under scrutiny last month after the Trump administration acknowledged survivors of an initial series of strikes on an alleged drug vessel on Sept. 2 were killed in a follow-up series of strikes.
“Narco-terrorist” isn’t even a thing and they’re murdering people for it. The only terrorist in this story is the US government.
And pirates as they seized tankers
The headline refers to these boats as “alleged drug vessels,” but “alleged” means charges that haven’t been proven in court. By plan, there people will never be charged or see a courtroom, and never have any chance to be innocent until proven guilty. Only the Trump administration — a very, very unreliable source — says they’re drug smugglers or “narco-terrorists,” but the only thing we know with certainty is that they’re target practice, which makes these killings premeditated murder.
