I’m looking forward to my book club meeting on Sunday. It’s me and two friends, and we’ve been doing it for 3 years now. The only successful book club I’ve ever been in.
This time we are reading The Man Without A Face about Putin’s rise to power. Great book, A++.

I’m enjoying the Olympics, and it’s easier to watch more on the weekends
What events have you been watching? I love hockey so I’ve been watching that.
As much as I can. I especially like alpine skiing, hockey (men’s and women’s), the sliding sports, curling, snowboard and ski cross, ski jumping, speed skating, really most of the sports. I’m not as much of a fan of the ones decided by judges scoring things just because the results can sometimes see questionable, although I enjoy seeing the talent on display.
Omg I LOVE hockey. Did you see the canada v Czech game? It’s great seeing McKinnon and McDavid together and really interesting seeing McDavid not just winning the game single handedly. Any predictions who’ll be in the final?
I did not get to see that game; I did watch USA v. Latvia. No real predictions yet; Canada and the US are obviously strong teams but Finland has a lot of talent too.
Yep I’ve got tnt and the previous event overran so they didn’t show half of the usa game! So didn’t watch it, plus Latvia was always gonna get hammered by them.
I’m seeing Pixel Grip perform tonight. So excited!
