When I was a kid, the Lion King was my favorite movie, and when Mufasa died, I knew he was dead because his whiskers were wrinkled, and I knew I had never ever seen a wrinkled whisker on our (alive) cat. Now I learn that alive cats can have wrinkled whiskers…was anything ever true?

Sometimes cats are just naturally scraggly; this is far preferred to longhair cat dingleberries and have to shave their ass.

I never have seen a cat with wrinkled whiskers.

And I have known a lot of cats living on a farm.

However all of them were European shorthair.

So I don’t know any other races that people have.
