    Isn’t that quirk or trope centered around how mirrors of old used silver in the reflective lining of the glass? Unless there’s silver in the watter I guess we will still see the reflection.

    Also I like the chat bubble in the reflection as if it’s a physical thing.

      It is!

      But this is kind of a modern creation to have a mystical reason that vampires don’t reflect in mirrors specifically. The original folklore seems to talk about lack of reflection even in water, as mentioned in this article.

      The reflections in general don’t make a lot of sense because the water is wavy!

      I love this comic, there’s a surprising amount to think about. Would a vampire house’s mirrors reflect its occupants?
