One of mine knows the sound of my car pulling in the driveway and she meets me at the door, and if I get in too fast I’ll hear the “thump thump” of her coming down the stairs alongside her chirp as she realizes she’s “late” to be picked up and loved on.

The other gets mad if I’m in bed or out of bed at the “wrong” times as well. Her cuddle-chill balance is at stake!
