I’m pretty sure he is using ICE to trigger a violent response from the population so it “justifies” the use of the military against the population. To him, it hasn’t gone far enough because he hasn’t gotten that violent response yet.
This is what I really don’t understand. So the game plan is to use a violent response as an excuse to use a violent response?
At this point we’re looking at 10s of thousands if not 100s of people kidnapped, and we’re all doing nothing under this pretext. Is this message from the opposition?
The thing were all forgetting is that we don’t have to fight ice, we just have to fight billionaires and their security. The sooner we understand that, the sooner we can all sleep without worry
It’s a catch-22. If people fight back, Trump & Co steam roll us with the military to quell “the violent left.” As people have remained relatively non-violent, the state keeps upping the ante in hopes that the people respond violently, which in turn “justifies” a violent course of action from the fed. They’re only really heavily antagonizing blue cities.
The purpose of all this is to extinguish opposition in order to transform the US into some bastardized rosey view of the 50s where the majority of people are white Christians, where men are in charge and women keep quiet, and that they can control the economy from on high to further enrich “the right people” while keeping the poors at bay. This is all entirely spelled out in Project 2025. They’re trying to throttle anyone not in 100℅ agreement with their view of the right America.
I reckon the only way to avoid violence and still fight back is with ruthless mockery. Make people laugh at how ridiculous and infantile everything Trump and his cronies do and say is. Bullies hate being laughed at. Look at how he reacted to Kimmel’s mostly mild mockery.
Trump really hates it when people remind him of the time his older brother put a bowl of mashed potatoes on his head while he was throwing a tantrum and his entire family laughed at him. It’s a core memory of his, and his first taste of shame and humiliation.
I wonder if that’s why his hair looks like that….
I hadn’t heard that one. That’s hilarious. I’d like to see a reporter show up at one of his press conferences and not ask him any questions, just sit there quietly eating a bowl of mashed potato.
Seriously the more he gets pressed on this the more he’ll fold into himself.
