I live in CA, and that FSC test is a joke, nevermind that many shops have the answer to the test on signs behind the counter. Even then, I’d still say hands on training, like say an 8 hour class, would be more beneficial.

7k here, I really need to invest in a pressure cooker.

I miss the days when subjective opinions didn’t pass as facts. It’s unreal to see some of these magats that are visibly struggling under this administration’s policies, yet refuse to admit there’s a problem.

This is why I’m a huge advocate for at least one mandatory safety course as a condition of gun ownership nationally. Yes, you’ll probably have to pay a fee for that course, creating a small hurdle for obtaining your second amendment rights. But, had this guy taken a class, he would have learned one of the most fundamental rules of firearms, which to know what lies beyond your intended target and controlling the direction of your discharges. And while I’m assuming it’s very legal to plink a can in your backyard in Oklahoma, it’s a matter of individual personal and civic responsibly to ensure that your activities to not infringe on your neighbors’, namely the right to life.
Should this guy have been at a range? Probably. But the fact that he didn’t have the common sense to take precations highlights the need for compulsory education in these regards.
LFS guys be standing there with dick in hand while everything compiles

It’s a catch-22. If people fight back, Trump & Co steam roll us with the military to quell “the violent left.” As people have remained relatively non-violent, the state keeps upping the ante in hopes that the people respond violently, which in turn “justifies” a violent course of action from the fed. They’re only really heavily antagonizing blue cities.
The purpose of all this is to extinguish opposition in order to transform the US into some bastardized rosey view of the 50s where the majority of people are white Christians, where men are in charge and women keep quiet, and that they can control the economy from on high to further enrich “the right people” while keeping the poors at bay. This is all entirely spelled out in Project 2025. They’re trying to throttle anyone not in 100℅ agreement with their view of the right America.
Electrician here, I’ve certainly felt electricity, and it sure ain’t pleasant.
And those generation alternators must be very confused.
While the tech may be amoral, its still implemented and utilized by pricks whose goal is control.
