When you are far behind on a technology, the least you can do is blocking every new project on this technology to ensure you will stay the last to adopt it. The next step is to be a crybaby and ask for money to stay on the market when everyone got the electric pace but Honda.

Gas is expensive and everyone wants cheap EVs. Gas come down when EVs gain traction, cycle repeats again. Nobody learns.
It’s expensive because some total pillock started a war for no reason at all, that disrupted supplies. It’s going to require a lot of people to buy EVs before dropping demand affects the price.
