Fair warning: We gathered up a BUNCH of these, and came out to the kitchen to find the floor covered with disgusting little grubs all over the floor that had hatched out the chestnuts. So, either roast 'em up real quick, or freeze them, or be prepared for a possible event.
Oh god please don’t eat horse chestnuts. Eat regular, non-poisonous chestnuts.
