    You shouldn’t use detergent anyway. It is terrible for a fabrics moisture wicking abilities, so shouldn’t be used on anything that supposed to take up moisture and/or will be in prolonged contact with your skin. It is literally polluting the ground water and costs money.

        Ah, my bad, I was talking about fabric softener, not simple detergent. Not sure what I was thinking. :D

          i half-agree with fabric softener. it has a place (it’s great for static) but i just personally don’t like it. also, never never never use fabric softener on towels it ruins them.

          source: the immediate family used to live in and operate a dry cleaner when i was too small to know anything, but they taught me the tips when i grew up.
