Even shirts with big stupid logos for the clothing brand, it’s paying for the privilege of being a billboard.

          • Yeah to a point. Some brands with logos make good stuff. I’ve got an underarmor long sleeve shirt that fits me perfect and it’s warm and made to last. It’s got a small logo on the back of the neck, I don’t mind. I’m not going to go buy a $40 t shirt with their logo huge on the front though.

And of course nike, Addis, sports franchises, universities… these are all for profit businesses who have tricked people intompaying to advertise for them.

I have plenty of my university’s clothes too. I have trouble with plain shirts, just don’t like them. I need to find something better. But my university recently started offering online stuff. Suddenly most people know them for that, not for being a real in person engineering school. So they cheapened my degree to get more cash for themselves.
