  • It is something you tend to see when you, when you actively use any linux distribution and come across some Canonical stuff.

Anyways, in simple terms: Canonical wants you to believe that Linux would be dead without them. But all users know that they won’t be missed for a second.

Take everything I say with a grain of salt. They are not that bad. They just don’t fit into the Linux ecosystem.

  • Even though Ubuntu tends to be easy to use, the company behind it is doing some stupid unnecessary shit, which is proprietary and they believe they always have to invent the wheel themselves instead of contributing/adopting already existing solutions.

Anyways, they are still by miles better than Microsoft, but I bet that they will monetize even heavier, when the market share of Linux rises in the future.

  • How long has ICE been a problem? And isn’t it quite obvious that nothing will change unless there is a different president?

I wonder why this is still news, as if there is nothing more important.

I get it, it is a huge issue and it is very important to document every single case, but justice can only be served after the republicans are gone. Until then, keep the material or send it to an attorney.

But it is not news anymore.

Same, but I use peanuts. I befriended a couple? They had three babies and now they are eagerly waiting for me to give them some peanuts. Two of them are still super shy, one of them gets a bit closer. I would love to know how I can further improve the relationship, because it seems that it hasn’t for a couple months now.

    1. Your source is about Canada. But okay, it can be used as an example, fair enough.
    2. Those are citizen-initiated petitions. It works a bit different in the EU unfortunately
    3. I personally believe that increasing the fee is the best, if you want to destroy democracy. A way better solution to this problem would be to increase the number of signatures needed, or in an EU petition the percentage of yea-sayers.

Thanks though for the input, I liked it.
