Have you tried favouriting the post using the star button? I’ve just tried it and it does work as a read-it-later function even if you mark as read.

Surely that’s just FreshRSS with a plugin like Wallabag or Readeck. I use FreshRSS and Readeck for precisely this. One-click bookmarking (and archiving of the page, too).

Also doesn’t help that Cloudflare moves things around regularly so when you learn a route to what you want to do, it’s inevitable changed.

You can. It’s more straightforward in Synctrain than Mobius but both can do what the OP needs.
