Outside of specific implementations like Tor’s snowflake protocol, it’s very easy for internet providers to see who’s using a VPN, the only thing it buys you is privacy at the other end (so they’ll know you’re using a VPN, just not know what you’re using the VPN to look at, hence why their panties are in a twist).

9·1 month agoLadybird I follow since it’s an entirely new browser engine and can help restore a little democracy to the web, but why Floorp? I’m looking through its website and it seems to be a more customizable Firefox, which is nice, but doesn’t seem particularly revolutionary (and forks of Chromium/Firefox are kinda a dime a dozen).

1·3 months agoReally, Matt? Nothing else, like how you went scorched-earth on WPEngine and caught a lot of people in the crossfire and destroyed a lot of goodwill in the process? Nothing comes to mind?
An actual boulder of similar size could be 3-5 tons and would’ve resulted in the death of everyone involved
