So let’s all band together and not purchase things from companies that don’t let us own what we bought. These companies will have to change their behavior if they see a fall in sales. Let’s make ownership the majority again

That seems to make sense and maybe most people will think that and this will stay niche. However I can see a legitimate use case of skipping traffic in a large city which gives significant utility. Also many people own expensive toys like toyhaulers and Canam Mavericks which come out over $200k in total. What I’m saying is I really won’t be surprised if these get incredibly popular.

Not nearly every developer puts DRM in their games and not every platform that distributes software says you only license the software, many let you own it

You beat me to it. You’re spot on

Bronzebeard is being objective and certainly not taking the position you’re generalizing here

So Steam is part of the problem. They can simply not have that in their EULA. With that attitude no change will ever happen for the better

Steam also places DRM and states in their EULA that you pay to license the title and not own it. Looks like you’re a Steam fanboy. We shouldn’t be fanboys of anything but simply notice the good and bad thaf companies do because either way they aren’t our friends

Yeah no kidding…

There are lots of fairly standard high end cars that go for more money than that. So the potential is quite high for these to sell well

LMDE? Hahaha

I’ve been using Mint Cinnamon for years and after having used Plasma on a number of different setups Mint feels so antiquated. It’s not even close, Plasma is far superior. It’s so much more modern and snappy feeling and you can do so much more with it if you want. Cinnamon makes you have to figure to look in applet settings to then find the setting to modify the start menu. So unintuitive. Among a bunch of other examples I could give
