That’s kinda where I’m at. Everyone says CatchyOS, CatchyOS, it’s smoother, stable, no issues. And I’m here on bazzite with all the same pros and cons list without seeing a different, I figured id try it myself since all the cons people seem to have on bazzite I haven’t had.
I might give catchyOS a try. I’ve been in bazzite for almost a year and haven’t had any issues.
Installation of the any Linux OS is also easier to install. And much quicker.

Which specific don’t work. Every online multivitamin game I played works. I don’t play COD or those modern “AAA” slops.
Honestly all my games have ran on bazzite better than windows with better FPS. And much less RAM consumption. Even some of those EAC games run well.
The more people that leave MS the more support Linux games will get.

Brave is based off chromium. You’re going to get ads. Chromium blocked most adblocker from functioning properly. Theirs a reason why chromium browser’s only have ublock lite. Not ublock origin. Use librewolf or any of the other non-chromium browsers or firefox forks.

Laptop RAM is always going to be slower than it’s equivalent too. Hopefully that keeps the prices just lower if people want to go this route.

If they lower their prices of MOBOs to try and generate more sales, that might actually be worth it long term. For RAM, I saw the other day a Laptop RAM conversion to desktop. Which apartment Laptop RAM is still lower priced. There might some interesting Frankenstein builds in the coming months
That’s a fair point. I’m mostly curious because installing flatpacks are just a bit of pain. I have to finesse it using the terminal. unlike Mint, where I can click it like a windows .exe and it installs. The other option is trying out Manjaro since that’s based off Arch and probably the closest to SteamOS in terms of distro.
