Because ice cream with butterfinger mixed in it is delicious.

They have a machine that mixes it. Like McDonalds is supposed to have for their McFlurries (which are either always broken or the employees are too lazy to use)
Same as Frostys at Wendy’s. They’re not as thick as a Blizzard, but you don’t drink them. People would still ask for straws, though.
I guess they’re free to suck till their brains fall out though

Because that’s how you get access to most of the functionality people would want a smart TV for.
Sure you can just hook it up to cable and a blu ray player but most people want a smart TV to stream from Hulu or other services.
You can set up a local service to stream video from your own media server, but that’s beyond most users technically
