2 months agoIt would take, like, forever. Meshtastic is cool, I’ve been messing with it for years, but it is dog slow. It is only practical for short text messages and telemetry.

The mechanical hardware build is no problem, building a controller and firmware is a different matter. This legislation is all about the firmware.
I have some experience with 3d printing equipment but I’m not sure I could build a controller from the ground up. To be fair, I’ve never really looked into it so maybe it’s easier than it seems.
