The only thing I need to run on windows now is for H&R block tax software. I wonder if I can try it with wine but I’m afraid of losing the activation license

Aren’t they trying to fix explorer being slow af? How would adding copilot help?
Your cat looks so much like mine, (extra) trimmed ear, white spot in the chest, white bikini, another spot in the middle, white back toes

I disagree. Even if the leaders condemn the invasion of Venezuela all of them were against Maduro, specially since the 2018 “election”, their response is mild because they are kinda happy someone did the dirty work. Also the country is not connected to the global economy. Greenland is part of Denmark (EU), Mexico has a lot of foreign investment and Canada is friends with everyone, the response won’t be the same

I’m not sure if it’s still the case but most of the population in Mexico is above 3000 feet so recipes had variations for sea level instead (the recipe was made for 1000msnm)
Sometimes it was confusing if you got something imported from the US or some brand that needed to be adjusted for high altitude

Don’t they need to request permission to enter the airspace before take off? They should at least deny the request and make them take a longer route
20 years ago it was way easier to install Linux from a boot disk (like ubuntu or suse) than windows from scratch. Sometimes XP didn’t have the necessary drives and you’d need to find bootable drivers and load them from a floppy disk
It was even easier to install OSx86 on my laptop than windows vista from scratch in 2007
Maybe this is one of those thinking that 20 years ago was the 90s
Many years ago I made a library for Arduino to control an 8x8 LED matrix to display running text. It was not very clean but I like it enough to upload it to the forums (I couldn’t find anything similar). One week later it was complely different to what I uploaded and it was super efficient and a bunch of people added new functions and availability but my name still appeared as a main contributor. Of course I put it on my CV and showed it to my professors!
Installed Mint last week after a ~10 year hiatus from using Linux (other than Debian on RPi)
I was surprised at how everything just works, even my network HP all-in-one worked after a simple “search for printer” and it also added it as a scanner without any input from me. In windows I had to install HPsmart software, login every few days for some reason and then some days it just refuses to work altogether
I also connected it to my home theater and I was able to set up 5.1 sound without any additional installations. In windows it took me several hours to fix this and sometimes the link between the laptop and the HT would be cut for some reason in the middle of a movie and I had to restart everything
You have to specify when to sell the bitcoin. I lost my hard drive containing a few of them but I’m sure I would have gotten a pizza or some stuff from compusa when they started accepting them
