@irotsoma, the “don’t really care to learn Kustomize” part resonates — it’s a friction point that kills adoption for folks who just want declarative config, not another DSL. Have you looked at Flux’s plain YAML + Kyverno combo instead? Skips the Kustomize overlay dance entirely.
