Nope similar but separate firmware. If you mean hardware then yes most radios that work with meshtastic will work with meshcore

Yeah meshcore uses the same radios and frequencies but the way the mesh forms and operates is different. It seems that the people that use it really like it but meshtastic is way more popular where I am at the moment.

Client_base is another option! The docs say it always rebroadcasts packets from or to its favorited nodes and handles all other traffic like normal client.

So it helps your personal/neighborhood mesh without the negative big picture effects you get if you set a home node on router or something

Libby, Hoopla, Kanopy (movie streaming) etc are great resources my library offers and for being free they are really good

I started those services a few years ago I’ve read more than I have in a long time. It feels way healthier than scrolling forever when I’m bored at work
