It helps if you tell other people about why they should boycott. It doesn’t have to be perfect, but if you can avoid certain companies it does help.

The people and businesses who fund the political candidates, capitulate, or otherwise support facism. Stop buying from Walmart, target, home Depot, Amazon, Tesla, u-line, etc. buy things second hand and pay with cash. Stop using traditional social media (already here) It doesn’t have to be perfect, but do your best to be mindful of who you’re buying from.

One thing I’ve run into is not performance with old hardware but missing features from the CPU/GPU. Think of tpm 2.0 requirements for Windows 11. There’s other obscure instruction sets that newer games and programs require such as resizeable bar if you want to run a local llm.

The government already knows where most of these people are. They’re just grifting and terrorizing people.
