The reality is though, that Trump was much better at getting people to vote, both by number, but also by location. Trump spent 4 years terrifying people into thinking if they didn’t vote for him, the democrats would murder babies everywhere and unleash millions of rapists upon the country. Obviously none of that was true, but enough people thought it was to terrify them into voting, because they’ve spent the past 18-50 years being brainwashed by fascists.

I used to smoke a pack/day. Sure it sucks not getting to smoke for 10 hours, but it’s seriously not like they’re going to die. It doesn’t hurt them, they just need to get their shit together and take a little bit of responsibilty for their dumb habbits. My view on this hasn’t changed since I smoked.

Smokers can be some of the most inconsiderate, self centered douche bags in this world. I thought so too when I was a smoker. You know what sucks when you’re dying for a smoke in an area where it’s either prohibed, or just plain fucking rude? Smelling some douche nozzle’s cigarette. It makes the need 10 times worse.

My solution is to not accomodate the addicts. They chose to smoke, they can choose to stop if they actually want to.

I can’t play stuff that requires kernal level anticheat (I know I know, “stop playing those game” no, fuck off). When I can actually play all the games I use to socialise with my very limited amount of friends, sure, but until then, for my use case, Linux is just not good.

Ehh, it’s like most of the extinction-event movies of that time. It’s dumb at points, but if everything was realistic, everything would be pretty damn boring. It’s in my top 10 of that genre.

Most people still save up for retirement in Denmark, but you also get paid a monthly retirement wage by the government. That way, even if you’ve been unable to work for an extended period of your life, or some other reason, you won’t be straight up abandoned by the government. It’s however not enough to live comfortably on, so anyone who is member of a union at a company that has made an agreement with a union, which is by far most, will have some money put aside for a retirement account. I have a pretty good contract, and pay 2% of my wage, while the company pays 11%. This is something my union negotiated a long time ago. When I retire I get a payout from that account, while also getting the government retirement wage.
