How short sighted. Blindingly so. Words change meaning or have meanings added to them all the time. The word narc is short for narcotics agent. It started sharing that meaning rat, snitch, and stoolie which itself is another way to say snitch. These other words are also words that acquired new meaning.

“Somehow” I’ve hit some kind of nerve with my usage of narc. A not uncommon use of it in todays world. The only people I’ve ever seen react so strongly are well, narcs. Narcs like hiding so they can victimize while playing the victim. They get super offended when they are pointed out and identified. They cry wolf and just cant help but try to convince their would be victims that they are some how wrong to think their perfectly reasonable thoughts.

Its not hard to accumulate a few extras right at this moment. There are so many computers being scrapped all you have to do is get involved recycling them for the needy. Those ten SSD are going back out. I’m wiping them with ShredOS right now to go out in computers for kids. We even receive some gen 8 or better intel computers that get replaced with all the older machines. The hard part is convincing companies and institutions to let us have them with memory and storage attached. We do a DOD wipe on them all.

No it doesn’t. narc is accepted as a abbreviation for narcissist. It can mean either depending on how you use. You figured it out, mostly.

Edit: narc can also mean narcotics agent. The term has come to mean someone who squeals/snitches. narc=narcissist or narc=narcotics agent. Ah english and abbreviations. It isn’t for the unnuanced.
