Apparently ppl here hate reddit, but for those who don’t, r/catscarryingstuffies has kitties that play fetch fairly often. So, yes, it happens, but I don’t think it’s too common

3·29 days agoLol I’ve had a 5 hr NDE, it’s the opposite of scary out there. If I’m not back again on my own I’m not intending to come back. My friends do know to not do an autopsy and wait until I actually show signs of decomp before they cremate me tho, just in case I’m gone more than 5 hrs next time. I read some shaman was gone 2 weeks in his village and was pissed when he woke up in the charnel house 😂

2·29 days agoHi! The NDE started me searching online for other NDEs to try and figure out what happened to me. I still haven’t found any like mine. But I did find The Ra Material/the Law of One. I bought the books before I found the reddit where ppl often post the free link, so here it is lol: www.lawofone.info/s/1. The most valuable paragraph to me is right there in the first session:
“In truth there is no right or wrong. There is no polarity for all will be, as you would say, reconciled at some point in your dance through the mind/body/spirit complex which you amuse yourself by distorting in various ways at this time. This distortion is not in any case necessary. It is chosen by each of you as an alternative to understanding the complete unity of thought which binds all things. You are not speaking of similar or somewhat like entities or things. You are every thing, every being, every emotion, every event, every situation. You are unity. You are infinity. You are love/light, light/love. You are. This is the Law of One.”
There’s a lot of “transient” stuff in the books from the questioner I don’t care about at all, but it describes densities, and to me it sounds like the layers I went up thru in the NDE, changing form each time, and that’s the closest I can find online to what happened. It also talks about healing and time being possibility/probability vortexes. Seems more accurate to what I experienced than “timeline jumping.” Which might be another good way to look at it tho if you still want to view time as linear not simultaneous. I was gone for 5 hrs and when I got back my body was no longer viable, so I knew I’d have to find a new one to continue on Earth. I told my higher self I wanted a place where “everyone could learn to heal like I did (by understanding consciousness creates matter)” and “somewhere close enough I wouldn’t get lost.” I ended up here, and so far I’m super pleased with this place. Some things are different, but there aren’t enough differences that I’m like wtf is happening 😂 I no longer had hypermobility Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, Marfan’s Syndrome, scoliosis, MCAS, strep throat, and MRSA in my kidneys when I came back, and have stayed healthy ever since. I post about it on r/NDE and r/lawofone, but it was 5 hrs, way too much happened for me to type it up in one place. Maybe if I could just talk and someone ask questions and type it up for me, idk.
Anyways the books repeatedly recommend daily meditation and say there’s no right or wrong way to do that. So I tried breath and guided and focusing on an object, none of it worked, so I tried contemplation meditation and that’s what works for me. I researched the 5 stages of meditation, but only recently after hearing the silence bc I was like “What was happening?” 😂 I didn’t even know there were 5 stages before that. So the answers I’m looking for like other ppl who had similar NDEs to mine might be out there too and I just don’t know what search terms to use.
One of the most interesting parts of the NDE to me was at the apex where my higher self told me telepathically “that’s why we say off then on, bc you have to be on to have a concept of off.” and “we do all these things because we love experiencing things, because experiencing things, anything at all, is better than experiencing nothing.”
Idk if that helps or it’s too much info or not enough 😂 You can DM me if you want to ask anything tho!

5·1 month agoI’ve been meditating for about two years now, and just a week ago I finally reached a deeper level where this like “living silence” literally drowned out all the noise around me. The only other time I’ve heard that silence was during my NDE almost 8 years ago, and I didn’t realize meditation could lead to the same place, so I’m pretty excited to see what new things I experience

News@lemmy.world•Millennials are giving up on the thought of ever buying a house and experts estimate fewer will become homeowners
15·1 month agoAm 43. Owned a falling-apart trailer for two years til it leaked enough carbon monoxide to almost kill me. Couldn’t afford maintenance. I have one Aunt left to live with and when she passes I’m expecting to be homeless again. I’ll never afford my own home. Yes, I’ve looked up “assistance” for disabled and therefore low income ppl in my area, and many other areas as well bc I’d move for a home again in a heartbeat, but that stuff simply isn’t funded anymore. I feel like I’ve been moving from one family to another who will temporarily adopt me for the last 15 years.
Haahaha! That’s totally different than what played in my head, but just as fun!
