But I should be able to do anything involving teaching, management, biological science bench work, or animal related. That’s a lot of leeway imho.

I have 7 years of oncological research experience with teaching/consulting. 2 years as the sole animal manager at a nonprofit with therapy animals. I can’t find a fucking job. It’s insane. Either I’m overqualified, or I’m lacking some niche experience.

A 5.5” screen is way too small to be worth it. If this costs more than an an iPad + iPhone Pro, this thing is gonna flop more than the Vision Pro did.

With the Ioniq/Ev6(3), their closest competition is the model y because it’s priced way above the model 3. The displays in the Korean EVs today are paltry and nowhere near as well considered as Tesla software. Tesla software is like using an iPhone, while everything else on the market is like using a flip phone. In the US, our available “Android” option is either Rivian or polestar (neither of which are in the model 3/y budget, nor as smooth and well considered as Tesla). There’s a reason why the model y was the most popular car on the planet until China started making cars with software to match. Here is the US, I would only buy an Ioniq/Ev6 if it were 20k because of how small the screen is and how bad the software is.

The leaf is uncompetitive in the US at least because it still uses chademo charging, which is really outdated and will disappear

the US has very little choice in the EV space. Tesla is the cheapest and most technologically advanced. Anything else you buy here has some sort of compromise compared to the comparable Tesla product. I’d buy Renault if they weren’t banned here in the US.

There are no competitive Japanese EVs. European EVs are basically only available as premium brands outside of Europe.

Anything you post online should be considered permanently online. It’s really outdated to think exclusive ownership is possible online. The way I think about it is that anything I put online is for everyone, good or bad, and not for profit.

LA county is more populated than most entire states. It’s a numbers game. My husband hired a Home Depot laborer to tile the entire house (before we met) for like 1K. That kind of labor on the books would cost probably 5x that because of overhead.
I don’t see how it’s possible to police under the table work. Many labor deals fly under the radar because of that fact.
Now, the downside to hiring cheap labor is that there’s absolutely no recourse should the worker fuck up your house or project. I’d personally never hire someone to do an under the table job for something important like a roof or electrical work.

Both and more. There are very few places you can walk into and get a job these days. Many Mexican immigrants come to America and try to work trades jobs to get by because it’s easier than a traditional 9-5 job with citizenship/visa requirements.
I stayed in Paris+Marseille for 3.5 weeks and found the portion sizes the same overall as what we get in California, only slightly less than southern AZ. These crazy portions are really only a thing at fast/low quality restaurants around here.
A year ago I was drinking a liter of diet Pepsi in a sitting, and it goes down just as well as anything else… only thing is that it negatively compliments so many foods.
What’s up with the French drinking 50mL of water with their meal lmao. I sip that much.
The whole entire point of a car is long road trips though. Especially in Europe, you want to live as close to your job as possible.
