She went downhill that morning, we got a confirmation of lymphoma rather than Addison’s disease, and she crossed the rainbow bridge within hours, smelling me the entire time. She got at least 5/8 good years, and one last night of cuddling me closer than she ever had. She laid on my face rather than my armpit.
