THEY’RE STILL EGG-SHAPED!!
Piping plovers!!! Nearly extinct when I was a kid, my community did lots of work to bring them back and now it’s working!
To be clear, my community was doing this because piping plovers lived there. We were an island. Cool little things. A peep peep little bird, love those guys.
That’s a great thing to do I’m really glad you all did that
They will rope off a section of beach when one of these guys nests on it.
They never even grow out of the cuteness!
They look so fluffy and adorable!
