Six-year-old boy. Two parents. Both gone before his seventh birthday. That is the heartbreaking reality facing the son of Renee Nicole Good, the 37-year-old Minneapolis woman fatally shot by an ICE agent on 7 January 2026 during what federal officials called routine immigration enforcement.

Good’s young son lost his father, Timmy Ray Macklin Jr., in 2023. Now, just two years later, he has lost his mother too. The tragedy has ignited nationwide protests, sparked a political firestorm between state and federal officials, and united thousands of strangers who have donated over $450,000 (approximately £360,000) to support the boy and Good’s wife.

I sincerely hope this raises more money than the white woman on a racist tirade against a black child.

I just want something to show me there’s more good than there is evil in the world.

You are the reason the world is shit. A percentage of it is because of people like you who stick their head in the sand or encourage others to do so.

No offense but the world is shit because we chose capitalism as an economic system that encourages a single parasite to have more influence than any government. Literally give me any modern day problem and it’s pathetic how capitalism is the only reason we cant solve it.

That’s part of it, but another part is people ignoring the issues and convincing others to do also give up.

You’ve given up so you’re now part of the problem. They’ve pulled you to their side by convincing you it’s hopeless to fight them.

Next you’ll argue and deny all this and possible claim I’m the problem.
