The woman shot and killed by a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officer in Minneapolis on Wednesday was Renee Nicole Macklin Good, a 37-year-old mother of three who had recently moved to Minnesota.

She was a U.S. citizen born in Colorado and appears to never have been charged with anything involving law enforcement beyond a traffic ticket.

In social media accounts, Macklin Good described herself as a “poet and writer and wife and mom.” She said she was currently “experiencing Minneapolis,” displaying a pride flag emoji on her Instagram account. A profile picture posted to Pinterest shows her smiling and holding a young child against her cheek, along with posts about tattoos, hairstyles and home decorating.

I’m pretty sure people were outraged before it was known who the victim was. I firmly believe this time it was much more about how insanely blatant it was moreso than anything about the victim.

I wish you all would stop this shit. Im not even trying to sound condescending or holier than thou BUT WE ALL KNOW her being a white woman changes things. We’ve sent brown CHILDREN to prison camps, how is this any worse? Plus Minneapolis is like 60% white. Its not this took place in El Paso or Baltimore.

Ignoring that fact is what put us in this position in the first place. Nothing is a problem until it starts affecting white ppl

I’m sorry you disagree with my opinion but don’t put those idiotic words and agendas on me. People were furious before anyone knew a single fucking thing about the victim. Chill the fuck out

I’ll actually agree with that, but since she’s white the country wont move on from it in a week
