I don’t even know what else to add to this headline. This is so fucked up and tragic scary and infuriating and it will in no way slow the resistance.

    This is not tragic, it is outrageous. At least, it would be in any other country that considers itself a constitutional state. This is nothing less than murder on behalf of the state - there is no other way to put it.

    I cannot understand how US citizens can still believe that they live in a constitutional state despite all this. Every day there are reports like this that undoubtedly refute this naive assumption.

          A solid third of US citizens don’t have the literacy to know what those words mean. They think it’s okay for people in power to “just do stuff” because it’s “their” party.

          I’m not sure how the two things are related.

          Realizing your country is fucked and overthrowing a government are two very different things.

          I’m willing to bet you wouldn’t be the first in line to sacrifice your life trying to overthrow the government if your country was in this situation.
