    Buddy, are you sure about that pacman -syu tho? I used to run several different rolling release distros and i wouldnt call them smooth. Like its no windows update but its not that simple either.

      Have you tried them in the past 5 years or so? Apt has given me WAY more issues than pacman has.

      (Also everyone secretly uses yay or paru instead)

        To be fair, no. The last rolling release i tried to run was nix unstable a few yeats ago. Also the aur was always destined for what is happening right now. When i warned people(back then still on reddit) they would downvote me to oblivion. But its so obvious, its ridiculously unstable. And yeah you can tell me about how the aur is actually not recommended but then fix the fact that most of your userbase still uses it. You cant call something a beta when all your users use it. You need a stable release as well and you need to encourage people to stay on it. Same with nix actually, why is(was, i think the attitude is slowly changing) unstable the default??? It literally has unstable in the name 💀
