Ah yes, just need one of those mythical ✨good companies✨, who can simply be trusted with recording fucking everything including uninvolved strangers and not doing weird or awful stuff with it.
Just have glasses with clear visual (possibly even auditory) indicators that they’re recording, and store the footage in an SD card, easy. Of course though, they won’t sell nearly as much because people won’t be able to use them to showcase le epic pickup skillz.
I don’t want my stuff streamed to even a small company. I’m talking OSS and local processing. I’m mostly into it for AR with smartphone integration, I wouldn’t mind having no mics and no option to permanently store any images of that thing
Yep. Pretty much this. Zuckerberg and the weird way they are going about it is a turn off. But functionally? By a good company? I’d be all for it
