    From what I’ve heard - social media platforms may reduce the number of views of a post with profanity. Thus, self-censoring gains more views. Which then leads to people sharing censored posts as they seem to be doing better on other platforms

      Yeah, but we are on the fediverse right now, why do we censor ourselves in the fediverse? It doesn’t have the same evil algoritm of every other social

      You may say “maybe the found the image on another platform” then they are just lazy, it’s just a random twitter post, search the text and the username and you will find it
