Welcome to “You Don’t Matter, Give Up.”

This community is inspired by the concept of text that conveys opposite messages when read in a different manner. While it shares similarities with [email protected] and [email protected] in that all of these play with the idea of misreading text, YDMGU specifically focuses on phrases that can be read in both directions, with each interpretation being valid and opposites of each other.

Rules

Stay On-Topic: All posts should relate to the theme of YDMGU-style text. Content should convey antagonistic messages when read in different directions.
Be Respectful: All members should treat each other with respect. Harassment, hate speech, or personal attacks will not be tolerated.
Quality Content: Strive for creativity and originality in your posts. Low-effort or repetitive content may be removed.
No Misinformation: Ensure that any messages or themes shared are not misleading or harmful. The intent should be to uplift, even if the wording is ironic.
No Spam or Self-Promotion: Avoid posting spam or excessive self-promotion. This includes unrelated content or links that do not fit the community’s theme.
No Rule Lawyering: Moderators have the final say in all decisions regarding content and rule enforcement. If you disagree with a moderator’s decision, you are welcome to discuss it in [email protected].
