One more piece of bad news for VR

VR is doing fine. It’s a niche hobby for people like myself to feel like you’re inside of a game, movie, or porn. If you’re someone who does work on your own device, you can even work in VR.

The metaverse was a ridiculous idea, that is beaten by VRChat.

TechCrunch also sent an email to an address that appears on the public domain records of two of the three websites. The person behind that address also did not immediately respond to our email.

It’s a study, not a solution. The goal wasn’t to change the opinion of catcallers.

Most people don’t realize how easy it is. Then it’s also hardware intensive to do locally. So, they end up going to some service online that does it and they charge.

It’s there and it’s pretty bad
